Cats are a great pet to have especially if you have a hectic work schedule. They are very independent and can stay occupied indoors for long stretches at a time. Plus they use litter boxes which can stay indoors meaning you never have to worry about an accident after missing a walk. The one downside to owning a cat that all cat owners will mention is their claws.
Given this, there is a need for pet owners to know what steps they can take to make their pets physically and emotionally healthy. For cat owners, one of the things they can do is to provide them with cat furniture that will make their cats more comfortable and help their cats remain healthy and well trained. There is a wide range of cat furniture that pet owners can choose from and it is readily available in pet stores and other sources like the Internet.
When cats aren't given opportunities to hunt, explore, and exercise, they risk not only excessive weight gain, but also emotional problems linked to boredom, inactivity, and lack of challenge. Our cat furniture is made to encourage activity and exercise. Many of our carpeted pieces are equipped with a breakaway toy to encourage prey-like behaviors like pouncing and swatting. Plus, multiple levels ensure cats expend energy moving from level to level and crawling in and out of cubbies. And, the cubbies or corners can also provide a hunting challenge when you hide a favorite treat or toy inside for your cat to find.
Floor-to-Ceiling or Freestanding? Cat furniture models will be either freestanding or floor-to-ceiling (commonly referred to as cat trees). Freestanding cat furniture is usually wide and bottom-heavy, to prevent it from tipping over when cats are at the top, or are very active. Floor-to-ceiling models use tension against the ceiling to provide their stability, and so do not require as wide a footprint as freestanding models.
